The Insight
York wanted to bring its community-minded campus to life for online users. Prospects don’t just want to learn about York on the website; they want to experience what life is like as a student. From one perspective, York is a quiet gem tucked away in a small town. From another, it’s bursting with opportunities, diversity, and a commitment to shaping tomorrow’s leaders through innovative education and community engagement. Both messages needed to shine through the new website.


The Solution
Building from an evolved brand strategy and platform, we partnered with the York team to extend the brand experience into their website, supporting their enrollment and engagement goals.
The result is a vivid brand experience on the web that highlights student life and academic programs while providing an engaging UX experience for internal and external audiences. We reduced web content by 16% (over 400 pages) and set the entire campus up with a clear governance structure that is both scalable and accessible to the campus community.
